Taking joy in the Illinois Family Institute's irrelevancy


Screen Shot 2013-11-07 At 2.50.57 PmI just came across a particularly nasty piece written by Laurie Higgins, the Illinois Family Institute writer and researcher known for both reliable hostility and verbosity. Out of instinct, I opened up a browser window and began writing up a response, hoping to both expose the extremities of this, the group at the forefront of the "protect marriage" fight in that state, and to push back against the flaws in the argument.


Then it hit me: I don't have to care what the IFI says on marriage. Not...
