Reflections #0001

As we go about recording history we have to ask ourselves how we can explain to future generations not just why certain groups or even individuals were allowed to manipulate the population at large into making often grotesque and extremely expensive far-reaching mistakes in general policy causing many unnecessary planetary-wide problems but more importantly we must explain why the majority was unable to prevent this decidedly inappropriate behavior from happening repeatedly in the first place.
