Willa & Max- a poem

Willa and Max K.N. Lee
Willa had a little boyA red cheeked fellowWho brought her joyHe smiled And sangIn his darling little voiceBut Willa was faced With a difficult choice
Max was his nameOnly four, you seeWith curly brown hairAnd eyes of green His tiny hands Were fused into clawsHe had pale white skinAnd markings on his paws
Max was not A normal child...But a creature from her closetFrom a place hiddenBut wildHe'd snuggle into her soft warm bedSing her to sleepAnd that's when he fedWhile Willa sleptLittle Max would feastFor he was more than a goblinBut a growing beast
