Writing Exercise

Step 1. Submit one or more one-sentence hooks. Sentences that will grab the reader and make her read on. Get them in by 10 AM eastern Friday.

Step 2. I will post the hooks (at the bottom of this post) and you will choose one (but not your own) to continue in a scene of no more than 250 words. That one will be due Sunday at 10 AM eastern. Preferably, but not necessarily, your scene will be amusing and feature Evil Editor.
