Dominique Navarro has produced a beautiful, compact series of Nature Foldouts on Egypt. I really like the way she has drawn the present day animals in the Flora and Fauna Foldout. The drawings are gorgeous and you quickly get an overview of the richness of nature in Egypt. The text is compact: packed full of information about the natural history of Egypt. I never knew there were so many Natural Protectorates (see the colorful map) or so many species of cats and canines. There is even information on fish, bats, reptiles and insects, and plants. Thank you to the American University in Cairo for printing these collectible guides.

Birds of the Nile Vally is an incredible little book filled with the most beautiful information and illustrations!! It is enjoyable for myself and also my three year old daughter. It is an excellent educational tool. I highly recommend it!!

Very colorful, creative, transportive treatment of a fascinating subject. While many of us ponder the life of Ancient Egyptians, this little artistic folder considers the LIFE of Ancient Egypt – quite a broadening of the subject. This is something to keep among your coffee table books to look at again and again.

This is not only informative but is a beautifully drawn piece of Artwork. Egypt’s prehistoric past is something that I have never researched or imagined. This opens up a whole new world of what was there millions of years before man ever entered the scene. I highly recommend it. I give it 5 stars. I plan on buying the entire Dominique Navarro collection. Wonderful.
