Government is about power, the distribution, use and abuse of power. Power is like blood to the human body. It must circulate freely for the body to remain healthy. Currently, members of Congress serve for 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 years. In a democratic government there is rotation in office. Longevity in office leads to power clots and government debility.
