JADE WAS once again at the gateway speaking with Fury.

“Pyre is upset. But he’ll get over it when he realizes Obsidian wasn’t for him.” Jade said happily.

Fury nodded her horned head. “Of course he will. I mean you are the prettiest female in the horde Jade. He’d be a fool not to see that. Just give him time. To keep you occupied I have something new to tell you. Something I hope will amuse you.”

“Oh?” Jade canted her head in curiosity.

Fury nodded. “Aye. I have created some new creatures to play in the valley with you. They are almost like you. I unfortunately couldn’t mimic the scales you have. You will know them when you see them.”

Jade’s emerald pools lit up in excitement. “When will I get to see them?”

“If I told you that, it would ruin the surprise! I promise to send them as soon you need them the most.” Fury cooed as she caressed Jade’s underbelly.

Jade shifted on her feet. She both uncomfortable and elated at the unexpected attention.

“Come to Shai’Pyre Jade. Let me show you the wonders my kind can offer one such as yourself.”

Jade, as if in a trance, followed the demoness into the gateway.
