Any publication date yet? I'd love to read the rest of the trilogy.

So far there is no publication date for the second novel. The editor that published the first novel left Twelve (the publisher) before the second manuscript was submitted. My agent is in the process of finding another publishing company. As you can tell by the reviews on Goodreads, some people really love "Albert of Adelaide" and others are annoyed by it. The sales have been about average for a first novel, but nothing to write home about.
The book is unusual and hard to categorize, which makes it extremely difficult to market. Outside the box advertizing is not what most publishers are good at or what they want to do. I think the other two books will find a publisher, but probably not until next year.
"Albert" deals with the themes of friendship, fame and prejudice. There are no female characters in the book, because they would have changed the arc of the novel. Obviously, there was more to write about.
"TJ" The second novel, deals with the the themes of love, religious intolerance and piracy. Two of the major characters are female.
In the third novel "Lily and Shiloh" the protagonists are women (raccoons actually). It is a story about cannibalism, grief, parents and children.
I think you might like the next two.
Thanks for the update. I'll keep checking for the next two. My family loved it. And my mother and brother keep asking if there will be a sequel, so that's at least three of us ready for more.
"The Famous Captain Walcott", the second book in the Old Australia series was put on Kindle this morning. It probably won't be available for 72 hours. There will be some giveaways to promote the book, but right now it is $4.99. So far no hard copies of the book. The initial reaction to the book has been pretty good.
