Interview with a Succubus

One woman, one man, one deal with the devil.

One woman, one man, one deal with the devil.

In one week, I’ll be on a two-week blog tour for the re-release of Straight to Hell.   There will be excerpts from the book, interviews, guest posts, and a terrific prize package for several winners.  I am so excited!

To prepare for this amazing event, I thought I’d introduce you to the cast of Straight to Hell, beginning with Lilith herself.  This little Q & A will continue from now until launch day, ending with the incubus himself, William Benedict.

Welcome, Lilith Straight

Q: Describe yourself in three words.

Lilith: Would that be before my life fell apart or afterwards?  Before the fire, the divorce, and the expanded family, I was organized,  efficient, and well-groomed.  Afterwards, I became (as much as I hate to admit it) sloppy, frazzled, and desperate.

Q: You have a daughter, correct?  What’s your relationship like?

Lilith: Yes, my daughter Grace.  We’re very close, especially since my divorce.  We like to cuddle together on the couch every night and watch her favorite shows on Disney and Nickelodeon.  She’s going through a phase where she’s dying to learn how to play the French horn.  She’s the sweetest, gentlest child on the planet; although, since she’s only eight, she’s not one for dressing up.  Honestly, Grace is my everything.  There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for that child.  Something that, unfortunately, plays right into my evil overlord’s hands.

Q: Who’s the one person, living or dead, you’d like to have dinner with?

Lilith: My great-great-great-great-great grandmother, Sarah Goodswain.  Only, it wouldn’t be dinner.  It would be more like a last meal since I’d kill her all over again for getting me into this mess.  More than anything, I want to know why on earth she made a deal with the Devil that included all of her progeny.  Sure, she didn’t want to be hanged as a witch, but did she have to drag the rest of us into the mess?

Q: Any men in your life?

Lilith: HAH!  Next question…Okay, fine.  You’re not talking about my cheating ex-husband by any chance, are you?  No, of course, you want to know about William Benedict, the incubus.  All I’ll say is that there are times when that man rescues me from Hell, and times when he plops me right back in the middle of it.  And, no, I don’t want a relationship with him.  No way.  Uh-huh.   Forget about it.  I don’t care how delicious he is.  I mean, he thinks he is.

Straight to Hell is now available on Amazon, and Amazon UK.
