The Floating City of Ghosts

I shall claim that as a good title for a poem or a story based on this article: “The Ocean is Broken”

For now, please read the article and let it weave nightmares as you sleep. When you wake up, you might have an idea how to fix this broken world.

Rose Boehm I have read this article before somewhere and it DOES make me sick. I know about it, but this is a stark reminder where we are going. Why is it that we all know and 'they' do nothing? Or do we all have to do something and march en masse on our governmental institutions and big business?

They can't kill us all (but they're certainly trying).

Jim Agustin I'm picturing the robots from PACIFIC RIM just lifting all that garbage and tearing it to bits that can be churned by a giant recycling machine. :)

little boy jim's funny dream.

Rose Boehm :) I am just so sad.

Jim Agustin I'm more angry than sad. With all the technology the "super powers" have it was probably all visible to them from day 1. But because it won't make as much as money as selling weapons, killing people, or stealing from those who cannot defend their natural resources from "modern" plunderers (among a long list of despicable deeds), there is little interest. Wait til an important ship gets sunk.
My silly mind is picturing all that garbage coming together, turning into a giant monster that stomps around... mwahahahahaha!
