Book Covers and Chancing Collision

Would you judge a book by its cover? I read Corinne Demas' Everything I was recently, not because I liked the cover, but because I liked the blurb. Oddly enough, I turned the book over to look at the blurb precisely because I didn't like the cover!

I guess there are three main kinds of book cover:
intriguingly enticing ones that scream "You'll really like this book" so I simply have to look at the blurbblah ones that barely even impinge on my consciousness...and weird ones that make me wonder "...
