I've already read this one, but anyone who hasn't would be a fool not to take advantage. This is my favorite book by Jeff Carlson and one of my favorites written in several years by anyone. The first few chapters should blow the socks off anyone who likes adrenaline fueled hard science fiction. -- Jeff, you can quote me on that.

Ha, Jeff -- Should vs. Will .....I've been spending too much time writing expert witness documents for lawyers. If I say "Will" then what if it doesn't? What if there is some adrenaline junky out there who can get through that whole chase scene, complete with real-time nanotech brain and body repairs, and just yawn, roll over, and go to sleep? It could happen. Maybe that guy who jumps off cliffs with his flying squirrel suit would be like "yeah, so?"
Okay, you got me. Squirrel Man SHOULD find the book to be a sock-exploding experience... ;)
