Friday Field Trip — The Waning Fall

We took another drive up Highway 67 on October 9th. Where we’d been a little “pre-peak” on our September 29th trip, due to our own schedules, we were a little later than we wanted to be for our second trip, and there were many areas past their prime. However, because aspens are clones, not individual trees, they don’t all change at the same time, and there was still plenty of beauty to be seen. At least I think so. What about you?
