Sunayna was kind enough to stop by and share a little about her book. Enjoy this interview.

1)    Tell us a little about your book.

A young girl is unhappy with her life. Her life only gets worse when an evil sorcerer is hunting her down. After he kidnaps her, she must face challenges and defeat them before returning home.

2)    What inspired this story?

Before I wrote this novel, I wrote a sloppy one called Alyssa’s African Adventures. I was disappointed by the reactions, so I removed it from the market as soon as I turned eighteen. But that was how I got inspired to write this novel. A lot of the elements in the novel were also inspired by the Harry Potter series.

3)    You are a young author. How do you fit writing into your life?

I actually spend a lot of time on it. Although now these days, I’m spending less time; but I probably will become more motivated since the next novel I am currently working on is more enjoyable.

4)    What was your favorite book growing up, and why?

I had a lot of favorite books, but what I really enjoyed reading was Harry Potter.

5)    Magic plays a big part in your book. What magical power do you wish you possessed?

The idea of charging an electronic device with your wand.
