Symbolism

FYI,
I have had many people ask why I use a Hummingbird and Dragonfly at the beginning and the end of chapters in my book The Strength in Knowing...

I use a Hummingbird at the beginning of each chapter...

Hummingbirds, are considered to be symbols of peace, love and happiness, furthermore, they are held sacred for their tireless energy and apprehension.
The Hummingbird symbolizes eternal joy and the essence and Nectar of Life. It's a symbol for accomplishing that which seems impossible and will teach one how to find the wonder of carefree living from ones own life situations.

The purpose of using a Dragonfly and the end of each chapter...

The dragonfly, symbolizes change in almost every part of the world and also change in the perspective of self realization; the kind of change that has a source in emotional and mental maturity and the understanding of a deeper sense of life...

Take care,

Alan
