Creating a WCF RIA Service for Visual Studio LightSwitch 2013

 

The primary reason you may want to use WCF RIA Services with Visual Studio LightSwitch 2013 is to:

Combine more than one entity into a single entity. Eliminate unneeded columns in an entity to improve performance (otherwise large amounts of data, for example pictures, will be transmitted even when they are not shown).
