UFO’s and Cinema Blackouts (Part 1)

Don’t even know what the whole point of blackouts or flashing lights is, but when it happens to you, it’s either pretty annoying or extremely funny.

The funniest thing that happened to me was a few months ago when I went to the cinema to watch the new movie that came out, The Avengers. I went with an old friend and a couple of new ones, curtsey of her. Thing is that the cinema we went to was a very old cinema that lasted for about 40 years. The screen was new though, so there were no complaints. But none of us was expecting what happened in the middle of the film.

We were all “enjoying” the movie; you must admit it was pretty boring in the beginning, and discussing all the mythical errors in it and obviously having a laugh at it, when it happened. The lights were turned back on just as the screen turned blank. It was so sudden we were startled and started asking ourselves what was happening.

We never got our answer, but one of the girls with us went to the toilet since 100% the movie wouldn’t turn back on till she came back, it did and she missed 10 minutes of it. We were talking about all kinds of things and wondering if we should just ask for our money back when, as sudden as the blackout, the screen turned back on where it left off and the lights turned off. We were laughing all the way out off the cinema. Something like that never happened to me, it was so funny!
