Let's Get Awkward

Officially landed a position as a columnist for the soon-to-launch ModernLoss.com, a kitsch-free, religion-free resource for all things grief and loss. And the site founders are just as determined to talk about the awkward stuff as I am.

(Still can’t believe I’ll get paid to write in my own voice, but that’s what they tell me.)

My first column is about how we deal with the possessions left behind by the deceased. How long did you wait before you cleared out drawers and closets? Did you store, sell or give to charity—a combo of these? Did you ask a BFF to help or just open a box of wine?
