Review: Ocelot Robot Album Release Show

Last Thursday, I witnessed one of my favorite emerging pop rock acts out of Los Angeles in Ocelot Robot. This group knows how to shred as they headlined a kick ass concert at Molly Malone’s in Los Angeles for their new album release, Etheldo (iTunes).

I love how their set started with harmonized vocals really getting the crowd to sing along to new hits like “Undercover” and “Lost in L.A.”. Ocelot Robot is kind of a throwback band and unlike many of the new bands coming out in that you know your going to get a kick ass show seeing the quartet of drummer, guitarist, bassist and lead vocalist. However they jam out, are super fun to watch and even did an unexpected rocking cover of Rihanna‘s “Stay”, which everybody seemed to enjoy.

Look out for an upcoming music video from the band but until then, stream Etheldo below. My favorite songs are “Back To Buffalo”, “Undercover”, Lost In L.A.” and “Black Mini Skirt”. Stream and DOWNLOAD below.
