Lastnight is done - well the first draft, anyway!
I have just this minute written the final words of Lastnight, the fifth Jack Nightingale novel.
I'm exhausted but very happy because I think it's very, very good!
It came in at a whisker under 95,000 words, which is pretty much as I anticipated. I always knew the ending would work because I wrote that first, more than two months ago!
Like all books it's not completely done as it still has to be edited, but the plot is so tight I can't see there's much scope for changing things around. And yes, there's blood. A lot of blood....
Anyway, I'm off to celebrate with a few drinks. Then I have a Spider Shepherd book to write.

Fantastic- I love the Jack Nightingale books- I can't wait to hold of a copy- any idea of publication date?

Yes it is , read it from the beginning of the series, they are brilliant, Stephen's writing is easy to read, the first book is called Nightfall, have you downloaded the free books that he's got on Kindle?let me know what you think.
Yes, they're fabulous books, although I've still yet to read the fourth one! I've had it months but keep putting off reading it. Maybe I will save it now until Lastnight is released and then read them both back to back.
Yes- they're great- a whodunit (or should that be whatdunit!)with a twist- always original and always unexpected.
I've got every book by Stephen on my kindle and so looking forward to the next Jack Nightingale novel....x
