Back and Forth, and Seeing Orange

Lots happening on the home front of which I can’t comment while things are proceeding. All I can say is this is for a stressful time for us, but I am writing when able.

I’m also editing, a lot.

Lost in Inclination is ‘done’ — I have the finals and it’s out within days. I need to choose an excerpt and hope to do so today. Just haven’t had a chance. The content on this one is a little unusual for me, but it bugged me to write it and I finished the first draft a long time ago and shelved it. Rather than let it languish I decided to have it published, and was 99% certain Changeling would be interested. They wanted a longer length on it, but I was out of ideas, and they still took it; they simply didn’t want to let this one go.

A Not So Hollow Heart is at the formatting process and on schedule. Again, I need to choose an excerpt.

I’ve just returned first round edits on Seduced by a Legend. This is a tight schedule. There have to be second round edits, line edits, proofing before it goes to publication on the 18th October. I am biting my nails, although the work is a novella and there wasn’t a lot that required attention. This round down, the rest should mostly be a formality, but as this is my gay version of Sleepy Hollow it has to go out in time for Halloween.

And there are other things. Other works, edits, life stresses. Speaking of which, this week’s blog is all about ‘Seeing Orange‘ (as opposed to red). Feel free to take this letter, and adapt it to suit your needs should you have a similar problem.
