Ladies, gentlemen, and fine feathered friends. It is crunch time. Let me start with a quote from Walt Disney:
It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.
Six or eight months ago, I for one would have never thought I would have a children’s book available on Amazon, yet alone be days away from a fourth.

Thursday was national “Talk Like a Pirate” day. Pomodoro celebrated as best he could.
Do you know what? Mr. Disney is right… it is fun to do the impossible. Just this weekend I have to put the finishing touches on Penguins, Penguins All Around, make edits to the first three books to reflect the fourth, finish drawing the “sneak preview” of book 5, promote a Facebook event for the book launch. Make sure that next week’s freebies (books, worksheets, coloring pages) are all set up.
The task seems impossible – and it would be – save for one thing.
I am actually loving what I am doing.
I think that is the key to all of this. I love making kids smile (and adults too). I love drawing. I really do love teaching without “preaching.” And do you know what the best part of this is? I am getting better and better at this.
So, it is time to get back to work – enjoying what I’m doing. I hope that you have as wonderful, busy, productive, and fun weekend as mine is setting up to be.
