Are Aphorisms the future?

Are Aphorisms the future? They are mine.

I have decided and am starting to convert all of my Kindle books into aphorisms and publish books of aphorisms based on general themes. My reasons are several. It is very hard to interpret my books as they are. I tend to write in an aphoristic style. I can express things briefly in a sentence or at most a long paragraph. Writing this way results in reducing what used to be long texts to half or less their size. I suspect the future lies with short form writing and with digital texts. I plan to do this with prose AND fiction. In other words to make each bit of text stand alone on its own terms. My laboratory for this is Twitter. @stephencrose As part of this exercise I will be tweeting mainly in sentences drawn from the texts I intend to publish. If you write as if each sentence you write needs to be a tweet, you will end up with a much more coherent text, or so I feel. I am hoping that as I progress that Zurker will be a community where I can reflect on this process and share the results. Triadic Tales by Stephen C. Rose
