Thursday - 

NEW YORK TIMES OUT AND GEEKS OUT PRESENT LGBT AND ALLIES IN COMICS

Date: Thursday, October 10 

6:15 pm - 7:15 pm

Location: 1A14

This is going to be a great panel with Dan Parent, Daniel Ketchum, Greg Pak, Rich Bernatovech, and Marjorie Liu discussing LGBT characters & themes in comics, from Marvel & DC to independent works. I’m really looking forward to it.

Speaking of lesbian characters in independent comics, I am SUPER excited to announce that I’ve been hired by Drumfish Productions to cosplay Samanya, the main character in their series Neverminds. She is amazing and I cannot wait to portray her! I hope to see you guys at the panel!

Friday- 
No set panels but really hoping to get some meetups and photo shoots in with cosplayers from The Movement, and Fearless Defenders. Please message me if you plan to cosplay any characters from those 2 books and you will be at NYCC. I want to nail down times that the most people are available so I can speak with photographers. If we’ve already spoken don’t worry, I will keep you updated on times & places to meet. I will have both Virtue & Misty Knight to change into on Friday. My goal is to do The Movement shoot no later than 10 am and the Fearless Defenders at noon. We have Virtue, Katharsis and Burden attending so far, and we would love to have all the members if possible. Duplicates are more than welcome. Please message me & come, I don’t care if we have 10 of the same character. We want to show Gail how much we love the book, and have fun cosplaying our favorite characters. That is all that matters.

Same thing goes with Fearless Defenders. We want as many gorgeous ladies as possible. Message me if you cosplay ANY CHARACTER from the book, and you want to join up on Friday at NYCC.

After those shoots I will be switching into Fire to do Fire & Ice with my bff Deanna

Saturday -

GEEKS OF COLOR ASSEMBLE! : MINORITIES IN FANDOM

Date: Saturday, October 12 

6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

This panel has a wonderfully diverse group of speakers that will be discussing all kinds of topics related to our individual experiences in fandom as well as the impact we can have presently and in the future. I am really looking forward to being a speaker and I hope you guys can make it! If you plan to attend, please join the event page here. 


All day Saturday I will be cosplaying with my friend Shar of Cerberus Productions. She’ll be the Vision and I will be Scarlet Witch. I’m so excited to cosplay with her, we haven’t hung out in ages & this will be our first planned team costume.



Sunday

On Sunday I will be working with Drumfish Productions to promote their books in Artist Alley. I will be cosplaying as Samanya. You can find us at Artist Alley tables N12-N13. Come say hi & check out the books!

***I will try to fit Namor in there somewhere. No promises though. Lol
