I remembered something funny about this the other day.

For the next few pages, Ragdoll is surprising himself by uttering completely random phrases that seem filthy coming out of his mouth.

I put ZERO thought into the phrases, I just picked stuff at random so it wouldn’t feel forced or artificial. Just completely random, right?

Hilariously, my very good editor sent a note back asking, “What were you thinking? We can’t use half of these, they are way too filthy.”

He was totally right, but I think he thought I had done that deliberately. I hadn’t, the list was completely random.

That makes me laugh. Ragdoll is so dirty that even completely innocent random words sound like the filthiest porn ever when he says them.
