What I've come to notice through comments and discussions about the Addicted series is that the readers who adore Connor Cobalt's endearing honesty tend to dislike Ryke Meadows' blunt, slightly abrasive honesty.

Wow, talk about your tough questions... Connor vs Ryke!! Each has their won quirks, likes and dislikes. Connor is honest and has a sweet side to him. To me he has a sensitive side that comes out with his honesty. Ryke on the hand is brutally honest with no softness what so ever. I know Ryke is there for Lily when Lo is not however he is so hard with her that you can't help but be frustrated with him. All you want is a little sympathy from him. I also know that the way Ryke was raised has a lot to do with his attitude. As for Connor it is hard to push aside that he does everything for the benefit of himself. Ok, I have come to my decision. I have to say I am on Ryke's side. Sometimes tough love is exactly what an addict needs!!
