Blame It On The Wind

She said that it was the air
that made her to behave
in such a brutal manner;
murdering a former lover
for not being able
to love properly.

As he tried to move on,
she moved silently into his life;
creating chaos within the parts
of his mind that were once
undisturbed, and once even filled
with visions of forgiving.

But she knew
how to stir up a storm
inside of someone who
had always been able to
seek shelter before anything,
or anyone was damaged.

So she ruined him,
and as she dug herself deeper
into a pit of her own lies,
she even started to believe
that she was the innocent one
in this story of revenge.
