An Alarming Trend

I'm a painter as well as a writer, and in a feeble attempt to marry the two disciplines I've started to post some of my favorite book-themed paintings daily. It's truly amazing how many really great paintings of readers there are out there, probably due to the fact that painters use books as a device to get their subjects to sit still.

But lately, I've noticed an alarming trend. Women's clothing seems to be literally slipping right off as they read!

It starts innocently enough, with just a fallen strap...
