It Gets Worse Before It Gets Better

Have you ever been in a situation where things kept getting worse? That’s where we find ourselves today in our remodeling process. As you’ve seen from previous posts, we’ve been painting ahead of the cabinet and flooring installs. Today the cabinets arrived. That meant removing the bathroom cabinets, which means we’ll be down to the pedestal sink in the half bath. They will even have to take out the sink in the kitchen. I will have no counter tops because it will take a couple of weeks after they make the counter top template for the granite to be installed. Here’s what we’re looking at now.

The remodeling process reminds me of this verse from 1 Corinthians 5:17. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
