I have, in the past week-odd, put what I think are the finishing touches on my short story "Baby Detonate For Me," and  my poem "Boys' Own Stories." The first is a more-than 25,000-word take on the witch archetype, the latter is a seven-page long poem digging into Arthurian mythos and the Western literary canon. Neither are my usual thing -- both are longer than I normally write, and they're both laden with gender issues, which have never been my strongest subject. But obviously, there was so...
