Okay, I am so freaking excited to announce the official release for this amazing book. I have been waiting and waiting and waiting. . .er well you get the point. I was lucky enough to get to read it before it hit the shelves and let me FREAKING TELL YOU, it has it all. . . mystery, action, adventure and love... oh AND HOT HOT HOTNESS!!!!!!

Who is she? Well, lets find out. . .
Tasha Gwartney is a Military wife
and mother. She is currently living at Fort Polk in central LA with
her family and two huskies. Tasha has always had a passion for words.
She started writing at the young age of ten. With first short
stories, then she moved onto writing Poetry. Her poetry has won many
awards both in Germany and within the United States. Tasha has always
had a passion for children which moved her to attain a degree in
Early Childhood Education.
In her spare
time, Tasha loves to paint landscapes and dabble in photography. Her
family has always told her that she got all the “artistry genes”
in the family. Besides spending time with her family, you would
probably never catch Tasha without a book, or her ever handy kindle
attached to her hand.
Tasha is currently having her first
novel published September 2013. Tasha doesn’t have just one genre
that she writes in. She loves to read and write in every genre. Her
dream is to reach her readers on a deep and personal level. Tasha
wants to take her readers on a journey where they will feel what the
characters they are reading about are feeling. Experience the
character’s joys, triumphs, and pain.
“If I can take someone on such an
epic journey through my writing that they actually connect with my
characters on a deep emotional level. Then my dreams of being a
writer are realized.”
Tasha always has characters banging
around in her head wanting their stories to be told. So keep an eye
out for her work. She is sure to enlighten your imaginations.
I asked Ms. Tasha to give me some quirky random things about herself. This is what she had to say:
I love being outside right before it rains.
I hate the sound of bare feet against carpet.
I hate to drive.
I hate when people try to hold me back.
I am very impatient.
I love being a mother more than anything in the world.
Hospitals creep me out.
I love the smell of old books.
Friends are important to me. They are my family.
I read a lot more than I should.
My favorite shade is black.
I never wear any color lipstick but I am not a waitress RED.
I wear 8 inch heels like I was born in them. But I would rather wear flip flops year round.

When we got to Jaxx’s room I felt instantly at ease
in the familiar surroundings. Everything had been happening so fast. My
brother finding me, meeting a Vampire that happened to be Jaxx’s uncle.
Meeting a Vampire. Crazy shit ass day! That’s what I’d been having.
Jaxx pulled me to him and started rubbing his hands up and down my back.
“Are you tired, baby girl?”
“Surprisingly not. Earlier I felt run down, but I already told you. When
I’m in your arms, you are my favorite new addiction. My very own double
shot of caffeine times a hundred.” He scowled at me and I chuckled,
pulling him closer to me. “I have found my home in you, baby. You are it
for me. Forever. Even without the mating bond I would want you with
everything inside of me.”
“I feel the same way, Ella. I have walked a lonely road the last two
hundred plus years. Always looking for someone who hadn’t even been born
yet, never finding anything to fill the void that I didn’t even know
was there until I saw you for the first time. Everything about you
enthralls me. From your kindness, to the fire that burns so bright that
it glows throughout your entire being.”
“I love you, Jaxx,” I said with happy tears running down my face.
No words were spoken after that. His lips were on mine and his taste
filled my entire being as the world faded away. Every touch, every brush
of his lips sent me into an oblivion of ecstasy and love. My head fell
back as he trailed his lips down my neck. He started walking us backward
toward the bed and we both tumbled. He landed lightly on top of me,
catching most of his weight with his hands, resting on either side of my
head. I leaned back on the pillow while his lips and tongue tasted
every inch of my neck.
He lifted me up and I raised my arms so he could pull my tunic over my
head. He stopped, taking in my black lacey bra. “My goddess you are
exquisite. How did I get so lucky?”
