A rough weekend for Army colonels: Two bounced from commands, in U.S. & Italy

The garrison commander in Vicenza, Italy, got the
heave-ho, allegedly for a drunken run-in with the MPs on July 4. Officially,
the line is that his superiors lost confidence in him.

Also, the colonel commanding the
hospital at Fort Carson, CO, was removed from command for allegedly getting all
inappropriate.

I wonder, what it is like to see your boss escorted from the
premises? Sounds like a Dilbert fantasy.
