A Penny on the sidewalk…

Happy Sunday!!!

While walking with my mom, she stopped and picked up a penny from the sidewalk. “What did you do that for” I asked. 

She held the penny in her palm and read “In God We Trust”. She said there’s always a penny on the sidewalk especially when you need it the most. 

Ah, mother wit.

I now pick up a penny and read aloud because I am now a penny picker…how about you?????
