Obama reiterates our deep abhorrence of all forms of violence that massively kill innocents as human collateral. Then he gets allied support for the following:
1. We, with the help of France, Britain, Turkey and Germany (and others too), airdrop or ship thousands of tents, blankets, latrines, and water purifiers into refugee areas. Refugees would gladly provide the labor if we provide the materials.
2. We treat this as we would a natural disaster, involving the Red Cross and the United Nations in further humanitarian aid, like providing food grown by Turkish farmers.
3. We airdrop thousands of gas masks and medications for sarin poisoning into Syrian areas not occupied by government forces.
4. We give the date and times of these airdrops, telling Syria that our planes are unarmed and have no offensive weapons. Any shooting down of an unarmed, humanitarian mission plane will cause instant retaliation from our allies against Syrian air defenses.
Take the moral high ground. Even Russia and China could not oppose this. Win-Win. Keep the Nobel Peace Prize!
