Actually, I've been sitting here for a good long...hour or more...trying to decide what to write about. But then I remembered today's grand news! So now....I shall announce it.
There is a new, wonderful book out! (I've not read it yet, but trust me, it is wonderful. It sounds wonderful and I wants it!)
Christmas at the Tittletons by Joan Bassington-French. (Her blog can be found HERE!)
Miss Bassington-French is holding a giveaway in honor of her debut novel. Part of the giveaway is a tag, which I shall be taking part in today. (Go to get blog if you wish to join in as well. Trust me, I think you'll want to. The book sounds fabulous.) Besides, the tag is fun.
The Tag
1. What is your favourite Historical Mystery book? Probably one reason I am so excited to read this book is because I don't really have a favourite one. All the ones I've tried to read I've found too predictable, or too romantic. It's been one disappointing Historical Mystery after another. But I've always loved the idea of them. (I think it comes from Sherlock Holmes.) Oh! Sherlock Holmes! Does he count? If so, I will go with his stories.
2. Would you rather read a Classic or a Mystery? Mystery. I love a good mystery. Like the Doctor. "A shoppe. I love a shoppe."
3. How do you think Christmas at the Tittletons will compare to your favourite mystery? I must admit, I have high hopes for this book. Really high hopes. It sounds like some of those old, brilliant movies which I cannot recall because I've been spending so much time editing lately. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about...wait, if you're reading my mind then stop. I'm hoping it will turn out to be that one historical mystery I've been searching so long for.
4. How do you think Christmas at the Tittletons will compare to your favourite Classic? It is completing with North and South - no I've not read the book yet. But it is my favourite Classic. So, I think it will compare nicely, but I don't know if it will surpass it. (Nothing against the book itself, I've have a special place for Thornton is all.)
5. Do you think you would like to write a Historical Mystery sometime? Very much so, but I don't know if it will ever come to being. I'm not the best with Historical Fiction...or Mysteries.

I know, I sound partly insane at the moment - more so than usual - but as is common fact by now, I am editing and this is one of the side effects. But the edits are going well, so that counts for something. And now I should get back on them.
