Deze snelle schetsen met penseel komen veel harder over dan de vorige. Dat komt volgens mij door het papier dat ik deze keer heb gebruikt. Er ligt een glanslaag op, en dat is niet ideaal om met penseel op te werken. Daarom duurde het ook veel langer om de plaat af te werken. De illustratie van deze ballad betekent niet dat ik het werk rond Thunder Road heb afgesloten. Dat blijft doorlopen, af en toe zul je nieuwe illustraties kunnen zien op mijn blog.
These quick sketches with brush seem to be much harder than the last one. That is I think due to the paper I used this time. There is a gloss on it, and that's not ideal to work on with brush. Therefore it took me much longer to finish this page. The illustration of this ballad does not mean that I have completed the illustrations of Bruces Thunder Road song. These continue to run, occasionally you will see new work on my blog. But I felt like doing something completely different this time. Working in black and white and with a brush.
