Honestly, it's not even great to download 1,000's of freebies that you'll never read even on an ereader. I finally had to admit I had a problem and stop doing it unless I knew it was a book I wanted to read.

I'm signed up with AMC (Author's Marketing Club) and I get emailed DAILY a list of freebies. I used to download every freebie I see with an interesting cover, even in genres I don't read. I mean, c'mon, it's FREE! But after a while, I just stopped because I almost never end up reading any of them, not just because writing cosumes all of my time, but because it's just soooo easy to get distracted on goodreads with all the exaggerated hype around other books. I dunno, that one click button on Amazon is pretty addictive.
