Review on Regin La Radiosa!
"Cabrisi Cristina is a young girl who, thanks to her friendship with Giovanna, daughter of a wealthy businessman, knows Matt Staton: immediately is unleashed a strong attraction between the two and Cristina would grant to him immediately, in a guest room of the great friend's house, but is rejected.
In fact, this man so charming and magnetic has other plans in mind for Cristina, intends to take her as a new ruby in the MSA, or Matt Staton's Agency, an agency of escort.
Cristina does not want to accept, but can not help but feel attracted to "Ice Eyes" and, himself, feels a strong attraction to her much to pray her in every way to be with him, despite the refusal of work.
Unfortunately soon he will be denied, I anticipate that will happen almost every three / four pages, when will accompany Cristina to a big gala event and got jealous seeing her kiss his archenemy (yes, just kissing up to be completely lost for the beautiful Stefano), confronts her knowing that Cristina's proud and arrogant spirit can not help but accept.
Obviously Cristina after the "magic phrase" accept and win. On her return, you do not really understand her feelings but she stops crying and she's soon comforted by Stefano, under the angry eyes of Matt, who is not so much irritated because the woman he is attracted to and that should be his, is just been with two men and future customers, but for the presence of his enemy Stefano next to her (What?) woman.
It will follow an argument, the first of many that will be resolved without in-depth clarification and will conclude with good sex between the two protagonists.
The story continues through the ups and downs of Cristina feelings for Matt, Stephen and Federico, boy why she lost her head years ago and that is now abroad away from her.
Cristina wants to work for the agency but do not really want to, it's not clear, it is a fact that becomes part of the "Jewels" as "Blood Ruby" and will not be well received by others girls who see her as a rival, will tie her down to a bed and sexually molest, as long as Matt will be freed, full of wrath, and the story, oddly add, will end with sex.
The style of writing is smooth, simple and direct: Chiara Cilli seeks to specify devices and places but sometimes, in my opinion, exaggerating since it seems to convey the impression that these are the most important details that the characters themselves.
The narrative is in first person, but despite this I still have not figured out what Cristina Cabrisi really wants from her life, from her relationship with Matt. Towards the end of the novel they exchange "I love you" almost forced but left me completely surprised, not so much the absurdity of a feeling like that in their relationship because in this case it is a subjective opinion with respect to the story, but because from pages only transpires the huge attraction she has for Matt, with no deeper feeling.
There's even a "rival of love", Stella, the diamond of the MSA, which has a very close relationship with Matt, but is not thorough. In fact, Cristina same when the question is not answered, they fight, have sex and then they fight again, spend some time and they have sex and I hope that in this case, the author justifies this lack with a studied in-depth in the second book. (This does not mean that it is still a bit 'far-fetched thing ..)
I want to clarify that I personally haven't loved the story, neither the sexual freedom of the protagonist, or her libido that comes on every nice guy she meets, or the ambiguous behavior of Matt.
Nevertheless, this does not affect my judgment completely on the negative of the book: is a story, a work of fiction and everyone creates their own characters and the events as they wish.
The problem, in addition to those already mentioned, was the lack of depth of the novel, also caused by the very limited characterization.
When I finished reading, I finally realized that I was not sent anything nor positive emotions or feelings. Absolutely not recommended."
