My new book “A Storm in Memphis” is about time travel. 

In the book there is a scene where one of the characters throws a party and invites a time traveler from the future to attend. They have no idea if time travel will ever be invented but they put out the invitation in the event it is. The thinking was the time traveler would make an appearance if the party was exciting enough to attract enough attention and make it into the history books.

So that’s what I decided to do. I decided to throw a party and invite time travelers from the future. If they show up then we can all meet them. If they don’t show up, then we will still have one hell of a party.
