I need help with my current WIP. My hero finds himself caring for his three year old niece. I need examples of things a man might do differently from a woman. For example, he puts a leash on the kid so she won’t get away from him in crowds. Or he let’s her eat ice cream straight from the carton so it doesn’t dirty a dish. Something that a woman might be alarmed at, but that really is just masculine, out-of-the-nurturing-box approach to child care and not only harmless, but might even be a better way. If I use your idea, I’ll gift you with a $10 gift card to B&N or Amazon, your choice. If it helps, the hero is a war vet struggling to integrate back into society and it’s Christmas time in Twilight. Yes, I’m going back to Twilight, Texas with this one.
Contest runs until the 15th of September. Winners will be announced here on the blog. Please respond in the comment section. If for some reason, you can’t post here, email me @ loriwilde@aol.com
