And Here is my submission.  Sorry, I got creepy…. I get creepy alot!!!

Nicole expected darkness and a chill of evil in the air.  Her dive into the mind of a serial killer looked like any other mind she’d attempted to reach and alter.  Sunny skies and flowered meadows filled her vision.  Even the smell of honey suckles wafted through the summer air.  She anticipated his dreams to be of death and gore; of faceless victims in pools of blood, not this.  She saw her quarry sitting by a pond, feet dangling in the cooling waters and fish breaching the surface to snatch small crumbs of bread as he tossed them.  He sat with his back to her, and he seemed to be at peace.

Nicole concentrated on her vision and rotated the scene.  The pond slid right and turned.  Her perspective altered, placing her over the water with a clear view of the killer’s face.  It shocked her.  The face of the man before her looked contorted in agony.  He shook his head as if trying to wake from the dream; no, the nightmare.  His eyes sweep the landscape until they fell on her.  She gasped.  He shouldn’t be able to see her.  Their eyes locked and the killer smiled.

A chill swept over Nicole’s skin  and the sky turned dark.  She watched his eyes as they bore into her like a dull knife but she couldn’t turn away.  The water beneath her began churning in an angry boil.  Azure water turned crimson and the stench of death assailed her nostrils.

She felt his pull on her.  He seemed closer yet he didn’t move.  Her body floated across the death filled waters below until she stood trembling before him.  Nicole reached for her failsafe device just as a blade pushed through her flesh.  She clicked the failsafe button but nothing happened.  A fatal shift had occurred.  They were no longer in the serial killer’s nightmare.  They were in hers.
