I'm going to venture out into the world of Amazon forums and try a few postings as soon as my account clears. For some reason, Amazon keeps telling me that I can't post because I haven't bought anything which is ridiculous. I've bought numerous things from Amazon.
As I was comtemplating the idea of trying a post or two there in the promotion threads, it occurred to me that Amazon is an apt name for those forums. The Amazon river is also full of vicious predators in the form of piranhas and...

Don't worry yet. Even though I've tried several times and even though I even opened a new Amazon account and used a different credit card and ordered something for my garden, the thing still says I've got to buy something in order to post. Why does the world hate me so, Miss Maureen?
Well, a strong breeze came in and fluttered Amazon's big roladex, and your name came up on the "Who can we mess with today" list.Although it appears that Amazon decided to have a sale on my books and now has posted Widow's Tale at $1.59 and Rogue Wave at $1.49...yet Victory Cove is untouched. So maybe I made the list too :)
