Change of scenery – change of seasons

The header and background is the Bristol TN/VA train station. I’ve updated my face book pages too with road trip pics. The Cowboy and I took some time before the NASCAR race last weekend to wander through historic Bristol. 

The train station is right near the metal arch announcing the state line.  I was in two states in two minutes.  

Bristol claims to be the birthplace of country music – and the monument tells the story of the first recording of the Carter family happened right on that spot. 

Historic Bristol is a great walking spot. Lot’s of cafes, bars, dance studios, antique stores, and we even found the farmer’s market under this wall painting.
