I’m Getting Old …

I used to be able to wake up at 6 with my daughter no problem.  And summers were lazier and I’d get up at 7.  This year I’m lucky to be able to crawl out of bed by 7:30 and nothing else has changed from the night before so it’s not like I’m getting less sleep!  This throws off my entire day because my ideal morning goes like this:


6 AM I wake up


6:30 AM I wake her up


7 AM she leaves for school and I get on the treadmill (like 3 days a week otherwise I lounge)


8 AM shower


9 AM sit down and write


So you see, the fact that I JUST woke up and realized I had no blog post up (thank you Julie!) and it’s 9 AM and I haven’t done anything except feed and walk the dogs … this is a problem.


For those of you who have gone through this before me … do I force my body out of bed earlier to keep to earlier schedule? Or do I readjust my thinking and push everything back? For the record, neither is appealing. Aaah! I’m such a creature of habit and routine this is killing me, LOL! :pan:
