So many updates!
Wow! What a summer this has been!
I did three major conventions and was at a variety of other events, including my first solo art show, and signings at the Cartoon Art Museum, and WOW Children’s Museum.
The major cons I was at were Denver Comic Con, San Diego Comic Con, and Wizard World Chicago. I can also say these were personally my best cons yet. I really enjoyed all of the artists and professionals I was able to spend time with.
I also launched my first Kickstarter [including my own domain, at www.MyLittleBronco.com]. At present, it has one week left and we are close to our stretch goal, having already met the initial goal. When we meet the $1,000, every backer will receive a free exclusive Little Bronco comic. I suppose I will need to start working on it soon! Make sure to back soon so that you can get in on that!
I’ve also found my most successful property yet, which is the “My Gal, the Zombie,” take on Heaven Forbid. Oddly enough, it has proven to be more popular than Heaven Forbid, proper, which I certainly do not mind. Merchandise from it has also done very well. [Much of it is pictured above.] I’ve done two shipments of hot sauce and some fun accessories and even eye shadow. I started a domain for MGTZ, too, which is www.MyGalTheZombie.com. It just forwards to the MGTZ page of this website, though. I’ll be adding the new merch items to my Storenvy soon.
So all in all, I’m quite excited about all of these developments. I have a number of events booked through the next two months, so there will be plenty of great opportunities for us to touch base.
Now on to Escape Velocity’s Comic Fest in Colorado Springs, Mile High Comic’s Woodchuckpolooza in Denver, and Zombie Fest in Cheyenne Wyoming! [three weekendss in a row, starting 9/7]!
Thanks for all of the support! I will see you in the future!
Dan
