Hamlet/Saint Joan (Olney Theatre Center, 2001 Olney-Sandy Spring Rd., Olney, Maryland, opens Sept. 4, closes Oct. 20). Bedlam Theatre Company's spectacularly creative four-person small-scale stagings of two of the greatest of all English-language plays are transferring to a theater midway between Baltimore and Washington, where they'll be playing together in rotating repertory for a month and a half. I raved about both productions in The Wall Street Journal when I saw them off Broadway. Very, very strongly recommended (TT).
