Strange things about Writing...

I just got back from a writer's retreat. It's amazing how much writing I can get done away from home. At the house, there are so many things that distract me. The laundry, the kids, dinner, dishes. There's always something that needs to be cleaned. Something that needs fixing. Something that needs to be done. Therefore I always get behind on my stories.

So, I've made a plan. I've decided to do one writing retreat a quarter. That will get me away, get me back on track, and hopefully, less stressed. Because lord knows there's a lot of stress around here...:(
