Peter Porte: Is he Diego?

I had an "aha" moment when a man who I thought would make a perfect Diego Navarro sauntered up to Sofia Vergara in a Pepsi commercial. Who is he? I wondered.  It turns out he's an actor named Peter Porte. If Hollywood is smart enough to option Legacy of the Highlands and A Legacy of Revenge (not to mention Lust and Honor), he might make an excellent lead. What do you think?
