He asked, what is a hungry heart?
I believe hearts ache, hurt and become wounded. Hearts become heavy and shut down. A hungry heart may experience unease, a nonchalant outlook and stressed living. We feed our physical selves the best throughout the day, daily nurturance in the form of love and attention is required to feed hungry hearts. A well-fed heart blossoms and nurtures others. A well-fed heart is set to regenerate and replenish itself continuously so it may thrive and give over and over.
Something to ponder – would you rather feed a hungry heart or try to fix a broken heart?
I do not believe hearts break. I choose to believe our Maker would not instill something in us that can be broken and destroyed. God gave us the awesome power of a heart; we own this power and are in charge of caring for it.
