A release date for Learning Curve

I'm in a great mood today, because I have a cover and a release date for Learning Curve. Here's the cover:

Learning Curve cover

And the (almost definitely) release date is September 6th. The book is still in proofing, so there is a very small possibility of delay, but I'm pretty sure it should sail through. I'm looking forward to getting this one out. I hope readers will enjoy watching Mac and Tony work through the situations left in the wake of Home Work, and a new mystery, of course...

I just found out we an actual book budget this year and one of the selection lists is GLBT material. I am so excited because I was able to order Life lessons and the rebuilding year for our patrons. Purchasing is based on circulation and GLBT still under circulates but I notice even on Goodreads more and more people are not only reading but are willing to admit even to the point where we now have a GLBT selection list with a good amount of options. So yeah Just wanted to share the good news

Wow - that's both extremely cool to have LGBT romance in the library, and enormously flattering that you chose some of mine :)

You really are one of my favorite authors so I have to be careful to not be biased when ordering oh if I didn't have ethics or morals the library I buy for myself. I try to give unknown and independent authors a chance but I always buy a copy for myself and read before spending tax payers money if I don't want to spend my money on it than I can't spend the publics. Why I am so happy about the selection list because it is library saying buy these authors...Hee.

Kaje Harper I just love the fact that this genre is finally getting into more libraries and becoming available. And wow, you buy everything before you recommend. That's admirable too.

I am laughing I wish I had that much money. I meant independent or new authors that don't have any library statistics I can use to see if they will check out. 2-3 a month. Some genres circulate differently at libraries than at bookstores.

Budgets have shrunk from buying 60 copies to 1-3 for whole system and we only high demand or requested material that is why I try to give unknown authors a chance.

Ah, I was wondering if you were an independently wealthy librarian. Yeah, it's nice to give new authors a try (it's not so long since I was one) but the quality is unpredictable. 2-3 a month isn't bad.
